  JUDGE - CAROL POULIN TAYLOR  Unrecognized show
  to get your nice colts out for a road trip and exposure
  to other horses and people.
 
September 25-27  Open Centered Riding Clinic with Karen
 Irland  all rider levels and all riding styles. Western, English
pleasure, Dressage, Jumping.  Limited to 12 riders with extra
days for extra lessons. Auditors welcome

WELCOME HOME FARM SUMMER PROGRAMS  2009

 

  CLASSICAL WEEKS  

  June 8-11

  Concentrated riding and training, learn biomechanics of rider and horse

   Floor exercises for suppleness and strength of rider,  ground  training,  

   long lining, mounted gymnastic training for the horse, drill and trail riding

   9AM – 3 PM  Cost $300  Includes Lunch and Snacks

 

  October 9-12  Classical Holiday Weekend

   Same curriculum and information as June 8-11 week.

 

 

  DAY CAMPS consists of 1 or 2 rides per day, instruction in care of horse,

  tack and stable. Learn basic horsemanship and continue on to more

  advance riding and training techniques and exercises  Lunch and Snacks

  School horses available or riders may bring their own horse/pony

 

 July 13-16 For beginners who are just starting to ride and care for a horse.

   Limited to 4 riders ages 8 and up Half days 1-4 pm  1 ride per day Cost $200

 

August 3-6- For elementary riders who can tack up and ride independently

  Ground work with horses, training exercises for horse and rider, beginning

  jumping, slow trail rides

  Limited to 6 riders  Full days 9am-4pm  2 rides per day Cost $300

 

August 10-13 For intermediate level riders who are training for pleasure and/ or   

  competing.  Learn biomechanics of movement for rider and horse and practice

  more advanced gymnastic training exercises

  Ring, field and trail riding, jumping for qualified riders   

  Limited to 6 riders Full days 9am-4pm    2 rides per day   Cost $300   

 

 (10% discount for full payment 1 month in advance of selected camps)
