DESIGN YOUR OWN SPECIAL RETREAT!
Your Retreat is individually structured to suit your own needs and goals whether you ride
for your own personal pleasure or for competition. These are opportunities to concentrate your total time and energy on forming
a trusting partnership with your horse.
PROGRAMS AVAILABLE: Basic Horsemanship Young horse training Classical
Dressage (Basic up through FEI levels) Jumping-Basic Training & Form over Fences Western Riding All programs include techniques from Centered Riding, the Alexander Technique, T'ai
Chi Chuan, Chi Kung, Yoga, and Pilates, to help you find balance, alignment and strength, resulting
in a refined coordination and communication with the horse. For the horse, the Tellington-Jones massage techniques
and Classical ground training , help the horse find his own balance and coordination. YOUR INSTRUCTOR is Joan "Sam" Morrison who has experience training, teaching and competing
in the disciplines of Dressage and Combined Training and Western Pleasure over the past 45+ years. She is a Centered
Riding Level IV Apprentice Instructor. Although Sam is not certified in the bodywork
modalities, she continues to study them and to use specific exercises and techniques from them as they apply to
riders. WELCOME HOME FARM also offers a regular
lesson/boarding/training program and is a host facility for the Primetime Riders Adult Riding Club
The RETREATS are for up to 3 people. Come with friends or make
new ones. Enjoy the cozy comforts of the 18th Century farmhouse and relaxing atmosphere of the farm and countryside.

to arrange for your personal Retreat, from 2 days to longer stays, on weekends or during the week.

RETREAT RATES for 2008 Two day Retreat $350 Additional days $130 each Non riding family members $25/night Horse board or lease of WHF horse $10/day. INCLUDED IN EACH DAY:
Unmounted bodywork
session,(exercises, riding techniques) 2 riding lessons Practice TTEAM and TTOUCH Stable management
(groom, braid, bandage, tack care) Video Study
Room and breakfast (Or you can make up your own schedule, pay hourly lesson rate
and do as much as you want.)
Enjoy a soak in the Hot Spring Spa after
a day of exercising and riding.

Opportunities to observe training techniques and strategies.
Extra activities can include: Trips to the mountains or ocean; visiting antique and craft
shops, enjoy an evening at a summer theater, shopping at LL Beans. Golf courses nearby.
