DESIGN YOUR OWN SPECIAL RETREAT!

Your Retreat is individually structured to suit your own needs and goals whether you ride for your own personal pleasure or for competition. These are opportunities to concentrate your total time and energy on forming a trusting partnership with your horse.

PROGRAMS AVAILABLE:

Basic Horsemanship
Young horse training

Classical Dressage (Basic up through FEI levels)
Jumping-Basic Training & Form over Fences
Western Riding
All programs include techniques from Centered Riding, the Alexander Technique, T'ai Chi Chuan, Chi Kung, Yoga, and Pilates, to help you find  balance, alignment and strength,  resulting in a refined coordination and communication with the horse. For the horse, the Tellington-Jones massage techniques and Classical ground training , help the horse find his own balance and coordination.

YOUR  INSTRUCTOR is Joan "Sam" Morrison who has  experience training, teaching and competing in the disciplines of  Dressage and Combined Training and Western Pleasure over the past 45+ years. She is a Centered Riding Level IV Apprentice Instructor. Although Sam is not certified in the bodywork modalities, she continues to study them and to use specific exercises and techniques from them as they apply to riders.

WELCOME HOME FARM also offers a regular lesson/boarding/training program and is a host facility for the Primetime Riders Adult Riding Club  www.primetimeriders.org
